Clinical Nutritionists have studied the biochemistry of food and its components to enable us to provide you with the best advice on what foods and supplements can assist you in your health endeavours.
There are no fad diets or extreme exercise regimes, advice given is grounded in nutritional science.
What can a clinical nutritionist assist you with?
Clinical nutritionist can recommend improvements to your diet and lifestyle practices, provide preventative advice on health issues and assist with helping you to manage pre-existing medical conditions.
Do you replace my treating medical professionals?
No we do not. Clinical nutritionist work in conjunction with your treating medical professionals to help you reach your health goals. Where appropriate, we will liaise with your treating physicians to ensure complementary care, and where necessary refer on.
What is involved in a nutritional consultation?
A thorough medical history is taken in our initial consultations. A discussion around your aims and goals for your health is undertaken and a review of your dietary and lifestyle habits is done. Once all information is assessed, a treatment plan will be developed based on your individual needs. Regular evaluation of your plan is conducted to ensure relevancy and achievement.
How do we manage your privacy?
Inner West Nutrition has a privacy policy for you to review on our website. All consultations are confidential and paperwork is kept in locked cabinets. Our third party provided client management system is password protected and maintained to the privacy requirements of governing legislation.
